Micro-Fine Polishing of Tablet Punches

Polish dull and discoloured punches to
a micro-fine high quality finish using a
drag finishing process.
Punches are automatically rotated
through walnut media and polishing
paste to give a mirror finish. The
entire punch is polished, not just the
tip.
This automated process saves valuable
time within the tool room and ensures
consistent results each and every time.
Core benefits include smoother
operation and improved efficiency
within the tablet press allowing for
higher press speeds and increased
tablet productivity.
It can also help to overcome common
tooling problems such as sticking and
corrosion in association with other
methods and can also polish coated
punches.
The machine is easy to operate via
use of the touch screen and minimum
training is required.
The MF Polisher range incorporates the following:
MF 35 36 Euro B or 27 Euro D punches polished in a single 20 minute cycle.
MF 70 60 Euro B or 45 Euro D punches polished in a single 20 minute cycle.
Both machines are available as Standard or Pharma models.

The GMP Compliant Pharma
models incorporate a fully enclosed
operational area, a stainless steel
hood for dust capture and an optional
extractor fan.
