During the ',vashand rinse modes of the q/cle,
soiled wacerfalls down the back of rJretub and into
the filter are3.The "valer comes through t}rc frlter
and back into the nrb. During the variouswashcs
and rinse pe:-iods,all the water wiil passthrough
the 6iter. The soii will settje into the collecdon
charnber and Lsheld there. When the dishwashcr
goes inro a pump out mode the water in the sumP
is punrped chrough thc collection chamber.This
closcs the pisconnlve to the inside of the tub. The

pump flushesthe collection charnber of all the food
soil and purnps it down the drain.
A check ralve is locacedin the drain line. This yaive wwwwwwww_€
ailows the water to flow in the drain direcdon only
and preventsthe warer from coming back into the

The fill funnel,Iocaredon the lower left side,is
vibracionweldedto the tub. A curved hose on the
ouuide of the tub goesto the water vaive under the
rub.
The top'ponion of cheinlet shouid be free of anY
"flash"material.L[ noc,a lcak from the flil funnel
areacouldoccur.

The detergentcup moror is energized during rhe
main *zsh and Iinal rinse. A feedback svitch from
rhe detergenttrip mechanism will provide a signal
ro the control to indicate the home posirion. It

trip motor for 5 secondsat the beginning of the

When in the final rinse, the control will energize

To Rernovemotor:
1. Scparatethe door and remove the control cover.
2. Removespring from pivot post to lever and lift
lever off.
