How do the jobs involved in crimes today make a difference with the crimes that happened a long time ago? In TheMurder of Roger Ackroyd a few people were important to this crime. Mr. Ackroyd had been murdered and with M. Poirot the crime was solved. The detective was important to the crime, but now there are more jobs that are as important as the detective, like a forensic psychologist. A forensic psychologist is very important and could have been a big influence on TheMurder of Roger Ackroyd.

Forensic Psychologists must use many skills to provide different types of evidence in court. One of the skills they need to know is how to understand the complicated behavior of human beings (Kessen, 2013 para. 3). They also use subjects, including English, math, and different types of sciences to figure out a crime. They dont only have to understand the behavior of humans, but they need to know why. The psychologists sometimes get degrees like the forensic computer analysis or national crime scene. Forensic psychologists need skills that can help crimes, like inTheMurder of Roger Ackroyd, but they also need a lot of evidence to prove who did the certain crime.

Forensic psychologists can find many different types of evidence for court. They swab different objects to get the DNA that they need. The psychologists usually try to find finger or foot prints at a crime scene, which is very common. They sometimes try to find hair as evidence, instead of foot or fingerprints. When they find things like this, they use digital photography to use as evidence in court (Acosta, 2013). This is very important evidence and there needs to be methods to get this evidence.

The forensic psychologists use many different methods to find the evidence. For fingerprinting, they use metal powder to put on an object and use a special magnet so that the fingerprints will show. Then for footprints, they either have moldings that they can look at or take pictures so they can have it as

evidence. In close up pictures that are taken, there are little rulers in it so that the psychologists will know the actual size of the object. They always wear gloves while they are examining DNA so they dont mess it up. They dont just use different types of The methods that the forensic psychologists use can help the crime a lot and can influence the outcome.

So the job that a forensic psychologist could have influenced it and it is an important. From the methods that they use to the evidence that are very important to a crime, makes this job so important. The evidence that is very common is finger and footprints, which is very important and is considered as DNA. The skills of forensic psychologists are also important keys that influence the crime. So theMurder of Roger Ackroyd was a very interesting story, but just think about how it would be with a forensic psychologist.
