this by resetting your settings assuming that the game is not running just delete C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Riptide\out\Settings \Audio.scr C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Riptide\out\Settings \Video.scr then run the game and setup reasonable settings, if that does not work then try changing video settings to Performance if that does not work then exit the game and manually tweak as needed C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Riptide\out\Settings \Audio.scr C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Riptide\out\Settings \Video.scr then if that is not good enough extract data\scripts\varlist_performance.scd data\scripts\varlist_performance.scr from P:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\diriptide\DI\Data0.pa k to C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Riptide\out\ edit C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Riptide\out\data\scr ipts\varlist_performance.scr change VarInt("i_shadows_sun_on", 1) to VarInt("i_shadows_sun_on", 0)
