To Whom It May Concern: I am writing this letter on behalf of Carolina Arango, who I have been mentoring since September 2013 as part of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Food & Culinary Professionals Dietetic Practice Groups mentor program. Carolina and I have spoken every 3-4 weeks the past four months, discussing her interest in pursuing a career in dietetics as well as a business plan she and her sister have been developing. Carolina is a very warm, intelligent and personable young professional. I have been very impressed with how thoughtful she is regarding my time, and how prepared she is for every scheduled phone call. I have worked with many students, interns, and young professionals during my 20-year career in dietetics, and Carolina stands out from the crowd. She is going to make incredible contributions to the field of nutrition and dietetics, and if in the future, I have an opportunity to hire her, I would jump at this opportunity. Her nutrition studies combined with her business acumen will make her an asset to many organizations. If you have any questions regarding the content of this letter, please contact me. Sincerely,
