Introduction
Background
On September 21, 2012, five users representing a choice of target audiences contributed in Nexteer Usability Testing. The goal was to gain precise ideas regarding their first impressions of the site, also the page of the career or job opportunities page. The contributors all considered themselves internet-savvy, had used the internet for studying and entertainment purposes. They were all Engineering students preparing for the future careers. The precise measures are outlined in Appendix A: Screener and profile Spreadsheet. Users were asked to review the layout of the homepage and the Career/Job list page for the Nexteer.com website. The users were not told who the client was, and were asked to give impartial ideas and suggestions about each page that were required to test. Alis Group spent approximately 50 minutes with each user in a public environment.

Research Goals/ Objectives - To determine whether the users have difficulties accessing the page of the Career and job listing. To determine the level of satisfaction that the user has after using the website. To determine whether the homepage and the Career and job listing page are clear and user sociable To determine whether the registration form for the job application is spontaneous, and how the user responds to kind of information demanded.

Usability Testing Tasks and Scenario

A series of tasks was formed based upon the website goals. The main task included: Reviewing and commenting on the homepage. Reviewing and commenting on the career/ job page. Reviewing and commenting on the registration form and the information.

Most of Web Site usability research displays that testing five users throughout the whole test is the most effective to determine the goals or objective of the website. All five users were able to identify some of the main issue with the website. They commented on every step of the test. In this case, five users were drafted so the specific target audience requirements were met. The screening standards and the user profiles are comprised as Appendix A: Screener and Profiles Spreadsheet. Each user is tested in one on one but in crowded place, with a facilitator in the room encouraging the user to talk out loud as he moves through the website. The user comments are a serious factor

of our testing, as we learn what the user expected when he clicked on a button, or hear them voice hindrance or enjoyment at a precise content. The testing was not video taped, and the clients were not invited to watch the testing. The approach Alis Group recommends (as listed in Appendix D: Alis Group Usability Methodology) is to estimate and answer to the apprehensions found in the baseline test of current Web Site, reflect the suitable variations in the proposed site.

This is very simple. Im going to pull up a webpage on this computer in front of you. Im going to ask you complete a simple task and to comment as you go.
