TOPIC: - THE WEATHER - On a sunny day Expectations *** Students will understand the use of word Weather- in context. Overall expectation: ** Use appropriate question What is the weather like in _______ ? in real context. Specific expectations: To review vocabulary of Countries To review vocabulary of Months of the Year Identify names of seasons and associate it with some adjectives To practice weather vocabulary in speaking, writing, reading and listening way To use appropriately question about weather in other countries

Lesson Development 1. Students will associate little pictures related to the weather like: SUN, CLOUD, SNOW, RAIN, FALL, SUMMER, SPRING and WINTER

which will be written on the right side of the board in a column. 2. Students will be practice these words in a choral way; then, they will practice independently with the teachers guide. 3. Same pictures will be stick in big maps according to the countries that have these climates. 4. Students will be ready to recognize question What is the weather like in ________? (In specific countries).

5. Students will see the teacher in a short conversation mimic. Teacher will performance both parts of this conversation. She will repeat it twice or three times. Then, students will repeat this performance in pairs. They will have a written form like follow:
