When I was born, I was little
And perfectly flat.
Now, Im big, round and puffy;
(some might say Im fat.)

When I was born, I was free;

Not a thing held me down.
Now Im bound to a string
Which is bound to a clown.

When I was born, I was sure

That Id float through the air.
But that dream has deflated,
And its just not fair!

Nothing hurt me at first.
Now Im so scared of pins,
Im afraid I might burst!
