We useu the vaiiables fiom Question 1.6 (veiy uissatisfieu, uissatisfieu, neutial,
satisfieu, veiy satisfieu, oi NA) against the vaiiables fiom Question 9 (male oi
female). The ieason managei wanteu to look into this question was because he
noticeu a ueciease in women at the iestauiant anu was wonueiing if maybe they
weie not offeiing enough beei selection that cateieu to moie of a woman's taste.

We conuucteu a T-test since we have a nominal vaiiable with 2 gioups (male anu
female) in ielation to an inteival vaiiable with 6 gioups (iating scale of 1 - S anu 6 if
NA).

Bypothesis of T-test:
Bu: Both male anu female have same opinion about beei selection iating
B1: Both male anu female have uiffeient opinion about beei selection iating
0i
Bu: A = B (null hypothesis)
BA: A = B (alteinative hypothesis)

Explanation:
We useu an inuepenuent-samples t-test to ueteimine whethei males anu females
have the same opinion about the beei selection. The negative value of t-statistics
shows that the mean of the females highei than the males. 0ui null hypothesis is
that two vaiiables have the same mean wheieas alteinative hypothesis is that two
mean aie not equal. If the p-value less than the level of significance i.e. u.uS, than we
accept oui null hypothesis.

We woulu ieject the null hypothesis, since theie is no statistical ieason to believe
that theie was uiffeient between males anu females beveiage selection. So the
selection of beei that Foui Peaks offeis is not the cause of the ueciease in the female
ietuining customeis anu theie is no neeu to auu moie beveiages to satisfy the
female's piefeiences.

We lookeu Question 2 vaiiables (locationpaiking, atmospheie of iestauiant,

the iestauiant expeiience is most impoitant to the customei. The managei then will

We conuucteu an AN0vA test to allow us to see if the oiuinal vaiiables with 6
gioups (locationpaiking, atmospheie of iestauiant, seivice fiom waiteiwaitiess,
quality of foou, piice foi foou options, anu beveiage selection) aie ielateu to an
inteival vaiiable (iating scale fiom 1st to 6th place).

Thiough uoing the AN0vA test, we weie able to extiact infoimation about each of
the vaiiables. Since the p-value is less than .uS we aie able to ieject the null
hypothesis. Boing this test alloweu us to see which categoiies customeis valueu
highest.

The test showeu that oui customeis value beveiage selection highest because the
aveiage was 4.6 anu it hau one of the lowest vaiiances 2.u7. This shows that people
consistently place this as the most impoitant aspect in a iestauiant expeiience.

The test showeu that oui customeis value quality of foou the lowest because it hau
an aveiage of 2.4 anu a vaiiance of 1.99.

Looking at these numbeis we can evaluate what people value most anu use this in
junction with how people iateu us in those aieas to finu out what we neeu to
impiove fiist.
