Lower back pains are the most common illness that jeepney drivers suffer because of their long-working hours. The aim of this study was to know if balance taping medicine, an alternative medicine therapy, can decrease or alleviate the pain experienced by jeepney drivers. Forty two participants were included in this study. On the first day of the study, information about the lower back pain of the participants was gathered by the researcher. After which, the tape was applied on the area that has pain. On the next day, observations and interviews were done by the researcher to determine if the tape was effective. The average pain level of the participants before the application of the tape, which was 6.43, decreased to an average pain level of 2.14. Using statistical treatment, it can be concluded that the balance taping medicine had a significant different in the pain level of the participants before and after its application.
