The Honorable Supreme Court met pursuant to adjournment.

The following order was passed.

JAMES B. STEGEMAN, CAVEATOR v. FRANK J. LILLIG III, EXTR.

The request for an extension of time to file the brief of the appellant in the above
case is granted until October 15,2009. Failure to file within that time period will subject
the appellant to the sanctions of Rules 7 and 10 of this Court.

Appellee's brief shall be filed 20 days after the filing of appellant's brief.

The request for additional pages to file the brief is denied.

A request for oral argument must be independently timely filed. No extensions


requesting oral argument will be granted. Rule 50 (3).

A copy of this order MUST be attached as an exhibit to the document for which
appellant received this extension.

EFFECTIVE July l( 2009 - A message regarding filing fees:


As of July 1( 2009( fees for filing appeals( applications
for appeals and applications for writ of certiorari will
increase from $80 to $300 for all civil cases. That is the
day House Bill 283 takes effect, amending OCGA 5-6-4 and
increasing the fees for filings in the Supreme Court of
Georgia. The filing fee for criminal cases will remain at
$80( as will the fee in habeas corpus cases for persons who
are incarcerated. For further information( please see:
