NAMO GURU NATHA AKSHOBHYAYA
The victorious ones unanimously scatter fowers of praise
To the buddha who is supreme in perecting,
ripening, and purifying.
This brings auspicious goodness to the worlds
of the ten directions.
I respectfuly prstrate at the feet of Buddha Akshobhya.
You frunate ones who wish to jourey to the buddha field
of Abhirati, the Land of Manifest Joy,
Wil find this sadhana frm the speech of Padmakara
Easy to practce and an excelent suppor.
So, come here right now, and enjoy this potent nectar
that wi make you mature and free.
Practicing this liturgy according to the oral tradition of
Padmakara, the king of the victorious ones, wi fuly purify
one's negative karma and obscurations. The practice has
three pars: the fundaton, the main par, and the conclusion.

The first part begins with taking refuge and generating
bodhichitta:

I take refuge in Akshobhya as the guru and the three
jewels,

As fr the amount to recite, it would be best to say the mantra


unti there are signs that your obscurations are gone, you feel
confident of that and the tathagatas have acknowledged it.
The medium amount would be one milon tmes, and the
lesser amount would be one hundred thousand four
hundred thousand tmes. In general, whatever amount you
say-such as one hundred, one thousand, or ten thousand
wil bring the corresponding amount of connection and benefit.

This teaching frm Padmakara, the second Buddha, is a
prfound terma of the great teron Jangchub Gyaltsen. This
text was arranged by the first Jamgon Kongtrul, the master of
the Five Treasuries, and adapted by Shri (Khenchen Pa/den
Sherab). Thrugh this, may al karma and obscurations by
purified. (What flows is an added verse of praise to
Akshobhya, which comes frm the tantras.)
On a powerul vajra elephant thrne,
Is the vajra mind of mirrr-like wisdom,
The blue vajra, the buddha who subdues the mars.
