1-4) Confirmation for the bracket bending. -> The elevator top face detection sensor cannot work properly by the bracket bending.

1-5) Confirmation for the burr on the separation cover of the right exit tray mounting holder. (SD-503 Installation procedure) -> If the separation cover cutting makes a burr on the separation cover, the chattering might occur at the Tray detection sensor (refer to the photos 1-1 and 1-2) when the tray goes up. The firmware for FS-514 is modified due to the solution for 1-5. Solution for the trouble code C-1183 (Elevator Tray trouble): If an Elevator tray starts to move up when paper is close to the upper position in the tray, trouble code C-1183 might occurs because of the upper limit sensor chattering. In order to prevent the error, the timer is changed 100ms to 180ms.

2/2 2. Confirmation for the paper exit tray set up condition. 2-1) When the paper tray is set up imperfectly (tilt, loose fit etc.), the elevator top face detection error could occur by Actuator few working or Actuator unworking.

Actuator

Press the paper exit tray against the elevator side, and tighten the screws surely.

3. Confirmation for the adjust plate position when the options are mounted The elevator top face detection error might occur if the adjust plate is wrong position. (Following option sets are mounted.) - OT-601 (Output Tray) - SD-503 (Saddle Sticher) - MT-501 (Mailbin Kit) 3-1) When only OT-601, SD-503 or MT-501 is mounted

3-2) When OT-601 + SD-503 or OT-601 + MT-501 are mounted

4. Confirmation for the Finisher tilt Please check the Finisher tilt just in case. Adjust the width of X and Y using the casters of the stand table. (come out and come in)
