Edited the news stories of Western Michigan Universitys student newspaper for grammatical, spelling, factual or AP Style errors. Thought of interesting story ideas and assigned them to reporters. Updated www.westernherald.com by posting new stories every day. Collaborated with the other editors about ideas to grow the Heralds readership. Organized and led a weekly meeting with the news reporters. Hired and managed all the news reporters. Consistently wrote at least one article per week. Used the Western Heralds Facebook and Twitter pages to share each story and draw readers to the Western Herald website. Helped to edit and lay out the bi-weekly print edition of the Western Herald.
