Student Log Sheet

Date: November 21 - November 29 Class: TGJ 2OI Project: Video Production - Late for Class INSTRUCTIONS Fill in this log sheet completely for each day are in class. Mark absences. Be specific and descriptive about the work that you did each day. Include:

Be sure to fill in the self-evaluation section at the bottom of each days entry. To do this, decide at what level you performed on that day and how effective you are/were.

For pre-production, we watched a short clip to evaluate what type of shots we would do for our Late For Class video. We chose to do a horror type film.

How would you rate your personal learning and work in this area:

Level 1: 50-59%

Level 2: 60-69%

Level 3: 70-79%

Level 4: 80-100%

Everything went well for the production, we filmed without many glitches. We were able to finish our shots within the time period that we had. We needed a very small amount of help, and were able to pull through to complete our video. If we did not perfect a shot, or did not like it, we would completely re-do the shot. Once

Our editing went well, exempting the few miss-happens with the premiere elements crashing constantly. We saw that we needed to re-do a shot.

When we did our good copy edit, it went quite well. We were able to work together as a team, and understand how to use different programs effectively. Although Premiere crashed many times, we were able to finish our edit. We do not know why it crashed, but it would be something to look into for future students. We used many different effects to make our final piece quite perfected.

Nick The log sheet is incomplete but can also use a more detailed revision that would be evidence of your knowledge of video production. In your group, Sam had the most specific use of terms and language. Look over hers to get a sense of what I am looking for but then add your own details. You are encouraged to revise and resubmit but let me know.
