How to use OnePetro Library The sponsorship for universities for using the OnePetro Libray by Schlumberger has

ended, but the department has now entered into a subscription agreement with OnePetro, so that all OnePetro papers are available free of charge to users with domains: @ntnu.no @ipt.ntnu.no @stud.ntnu.no and some more! Some companies and universities cannot use +P validation for various reasons. To give them an alternate option OnePetro created a program that will enable users to validate based on the fact that he,she has a valid company,university email address.

The following lin# is posted on the subscriber-s intranet site: http://www.onepetro.org/mslib/protected/entitlement/RequestEntitlement.jsp (Link will only work once a valid email domain has been supplied by the company and entered in the entitlements section of the OnePetro Admin Screens)

Login 3hanges:
Reminder: The new OnePetro login is not the same as the spe.org login. Users who wish to have a OnePetro login will need to go through New User Registration.

The location of the login button is in the upper right hand corner of the OnePetro header.

New Users $ll users will be new users to start with. 4ven if the user has an SP4 login and entered it on the OnePetro site in the past, they will need to create a new login for OnePetro!.

'sers must have a OnePetro login separate from the SP4 login! to access member pricing and,or individual subscriptions in OnePetro. The location of the login button is in the upper right hand corner of the OnePetro header.

Email Validation
The first thing users will see is a screen to validate that they do not already have a login active in the OnePetro system.

+f a user does have a login, it will refer them to the .0orgot Password/ or re6uest they call 3ustomer Service for assistance.

Once a user has created an account and logged in, they can always update their information by clic#ing on the .5y $ccount/ in the top right of the header.

They will now see a page that shows them their current information and gives them lin#s to update the information:
