Your Opportunity to

Share with others in Need

Dear Friend in Christ,

Hello from the university! It’s been a great year for me at college. I’m
writing you to let you know about a wonderful opportunity. I have been invited to
participate in a week-long mission trip to Saltillo, Mexico to work with churches in
the area. I really want to go! Taking the Gospel to another culture to people
much less fortunate than me is exciting to think about. To work with them, to
worship with them, to play with them, and to share the Bible with them is our goal.

P
Our plans are to serve in this mission during our college semester spring
break from March 14th – 22nd. A team of about 40 people have committed to do
construction work on church buildings in a depressed area of Mexico, teach Bible
school lessons (through translators) to Mexican children, to share worship services

M
with local Mexican churches, and to host a fun carnival for neighborhood children.
Ultimately we want to strengthen the Mexican churches and serve the people
in their surrounding neighborhoods.

Part of the mission experience involves raising the necessary finances for

A
me to go. I’ve already paid my registration fee, but $275 remains for my trip
expense. The fees include my travel expense, food, and the purchase of all the
construction materials for our projects. Part of the excitement of this trip is that we
hope to donate over $5,000 of our registration money to the needy Mexican

S
churches. I’m saving my money and working to pay for my expenses, but I could
really use your help.

Would you be kind enough to help with my financial need for the trip? Your
gift of $25, $50, or even $100 would make it possible for me to encourage other
Christians in Mexico and grow in my own faith too. I am only sending this letter to

E
__________ people. If more money comes in than I need for my registration it will be
spread out to others who are unable to afford to go. You can make out a check to
Christian Student Fellowship and send it to the CSF office (I’ve enclosed some
return envelopes for your convenience). If you want, you can send it directly to

L
me, but it’s more convenient to send it to Christian Student Fellowship; PO Box
84744, Lincoln, NE 68501. Be sure to designate my name on the memo part of the
check so it will be used for my expenses. CSF is recognized by the IRS as an official
religious organization so your donation is fully tax-deductible and you will receive a
receipt for your generosity.

God has been so faithful to me in my plans for this trip. It’s very apparent to
me that He can use me in His Kingdom in this way. Please join me in praying not
only for my financial need, but for the Mission Trip itself. We have a website that
you can go to find updates and specific things you can pray for. Simply go to
csfmissions.wordpress.com and bookmark it in your web browser so you can
check back often for these updates. Pray for us to have an eternal impact! Thanks
in advance!
