Objective: To write an engaging short story and publish the story using Weebly. Your Weebly publication will also highlight the following elements of your story: character, theme, and important quotations. Instructions: 1. Go to www. Weebly.com and set up a basic, free website. You will need a valid email address. 2. Create a title for your website (URL). 4. What do I include on each page? ABOUT THE AUTHOR 1. This page gives your readers some brief insight into your life and who you are as a writer. You can find similar examples on inside cover flaps or back pages of many novels. 2. Refer to yourself using your pen name. 3. Optional: you can mention your current city of residence, previous cities, grade (dont name your school), academic interests, personal interests, goals and aspirations for the future, describe your idea of the perfect day, write about what inspires you, photos. Write one or two possible theme statements for your story and explain each one in 3-5 sentences. CHARACTERS 1. You may include a photo for each character.
