Pentatonic Pairs on the Circle of 4ths

1. Start with D Minor (II-7) at the
D position on the Circle (10:00). C postion at No. 1. (12:00).

2, Play the D-7 G7 CM7 (II-7 V7 IM7) to the 3. At the C

position (12:00), change the CM7 (IM7) to a C-7 (II-7) and continue D Major at 6. (9:00).

this process around the Circle to the starting point 4. At D shift to Eb

minor (II-7) and continue changing the IM7 chord to a II-7 Major (3:00).
