TRIESTE
incastonata fra il mare e la collina, Trieste si staglia allorizzonte bianca e luminosa sul blu del mare e del cielo e appare come una sorta di ultimo miraggio mediterraneo a chi percorre questo tratto settentrionale della costa adriatica. tutto un susseguirsi di vie con palazzi imponenti e di notevole pregio architettonico che ricordano il prodigioso incremento avuto dalla citt nellOttocento. Zwischen Meer und Hgel hebt sich Triest am Horizont wei und hell vom Blau des Meeres und des Himmels ab. Wer an dieser Nordkste der Adria entlangfhrt, dem kommt es wie eine Art letzte mediterrane Fata Morgana vor. Triest ist ein Gewirr von Straen, und die stattlichen Gebude von groem architektonischem Wert erinnern an die Bltezeit der Stadt im neunzehnten Jahrhundert. trieste is set between the sea and the hills and stands out on the horizon white and bright against the blue of the sea and sky. It looks like a sort of last Mediterranean mirage to everyone who comes to this northern stretch of Adriatic coast. Many streets overlooked by imposing palaces of great architectural value, which recall the extraordinary development enjoyed by the city during the nineteenth century.
