The Oro Youth Leaders Convergence is a citizen-led initiative supported and endorsed by the City Social Welfare Development Office and the National Youth Commission. This summit aims to gather the youth leaders from different sectors in order to articulate and consolidate a comprehensive City Youth Development Agenda and create an institutional mechanism to facilitate the implementation and monitoring of such agenda. The vocal support of the city leadership to incorporate youth participation in local governance in the light of the SKs suspension has encouraged organized youth around the city to come together and push for a formal recognition and organization. Hence, it is the hope that this summit is the beginning of a sustained critical partnership between the city youth and their government. It is in the spirit of this mission that we are inviting YOU to represent your organization as part of the XXX sector. The convergence will be on March 22, 2014 8:00 5:00 PM at the City Tourism Hall. In order to hasten the agenda formulation; the preparatory committee also requires a presummit work. Attached herewith is the form to be submitted on or before XXXXXX through XXXX.
