Title Department(s) Job summary The Youth Employment Counselors will assist with identifying and recruiting qualified youth; implementing program activities; recruiting private and public sector employers for programs; establishing good customer relations with employers and monitoring work site performance; assisting with the development of employment training curriculum and leading employment training workshops; providing employment counseling; working with participants in developing good work habits; serving as a role model. Perform other duties as assigned Minimum requirements Completion of college-level courses in counseling, education, social work or related field; one year of experience in human service work involving public contact; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Employees must possess a valid driver's license. Title Job summary Reporting to the After Care Leader, a Headfirst after Care Junior Counselor is responsible for the safety, enjoyment and emotional well-being of every after care camper. After Care is an extension of the camp day so the After Care Junior Counselor must have the energy and flexibility to work from 2:00pm to 6:30pm. The Headfirst Junior Counselor is the ultimate role model; always providing a positive, high energy, life-changing experience for the campers. A Headfirst after Care Junior Counselor must possess an earnest passion for working with and learning from children, and feed off the youthful energy that our campers approach each day with. Most important, Headfirst Junior Counselors aspire to have an incredibly fun work experience.
