Step 2
Here’s how I use the data. Each January on my calendar, I highlight my job’s biweekly pay dates

whole year (typically the 2 and 16 ). The first time I did this led me too negotiate due dates with
companies I do business with (e.g., Ford and Geico). Many were very flexible. Now comes the time I
allot to work. Beginning with the end in mind (Designation I = $1705),

in advance, so that direct deposit pay
ayday #1 on the 2 is enough to cover Designation I. Not a problem
because my first few and last few expenditures of the month are either relatively small amounts, or I
determine their actual “due” dates.

I plug Designation totals into my Payday Principal sheet (Step 3).. I have one of these for each pay date.
