D. B.ArcH PROGRAMME where NO CET will be held. (CET code-100)
1(A) Eligibility Conditions Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and must have minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics as subject OR 10+3 years diploma in Architecture recognized by the Central, State Governments All candidates possssing any of the above qualifications must also have passed the National Aptitude Test of Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture. Admissions will be made on the basis of NATA Score and the percentage of Aggregate marks i.e. (percentage will be calculated considering all the subjects) obtained in the qualifying examination, i.e. Senior secondary level or equivalent.

The aspirant should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) or its equivalent examination from a recognized University or Board or Institute to apply for this exam. The aspirants currently appearing for the 10+2 exam are also eligible to attend the exam subject to some terms and conditions specified by the authority. The aspirants should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination.
The aspirant must have at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination and also in Mathematics
separately.
The aspirant should be physically and mentally fit at the time of exam.

(ii) All candidates are advised to take NATA Examination of the Council of Architecture at their own initiative, in such a manner so that result of the same is available with the candidate on or before 01.07.2014. It is once again reiterated that the candidates will have to take the NATA Examination at their own initiative for which neither University will give any separate intimation nor shall allow any candidate to take admission in its B.Arch. programme to candidates who do not hold the valid NATA Score. 3. Candidates may note that NATA Score and marks submitted at the time of submission of Application (please see relevant Appendix in Part -E) shall be considered final and no change will be accepted in the NATA score/marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Merit List : Merit list shall be prepared based on: (i) Architectural Aptitude (NATA score) : 50% : 50%

In order to pass the Architectural Aptitude Test (NATA) the candidate must obtain a minimum of 40% marks. In the inter-se-merit of candidates securing equal ranks, following criteria will be adopted to determine the merit: i) ii) The Candidate getting higher score in NATA; In case of candidates securing equal scores in NATA, then the candidate getting higher marks in Maths of the qualifying examination;
iii) In case of tie in (i) and (ii) above, the candidate getting higher marks in qualifying examination; iv) In case of tie in (i), (ii) and (iii) above, the candidate older in age shall rank higher. CET admit card will be issued by the University to be used as proof of identity of the candidates at the time of counselling/admission. 9

Compartment/Supplementary Cases:
Compartment/Supplementary cases at any stage who have appeared for examination(s) and the result of the same is/are not declared by the time of counselling/admission, such candidates will not be considered for admission for the academic session 2014-15. e.g. Compartment may be in 1st yr/2nd yr/3rd yr or Ist semester/2nd semester or any other semesters of the qualifying degree examination e.g. in case of LLB programme, there should be no compartment in 12th class. In case the result of the Compartment/Supplementary examination(s) is/are declared by the time of admission/counselling and the candidate fulfills the eligibility conditions as mentioned above, then such candidates would be eligible for the admission for the academic session 2014-15. It is further clarified that provisional admission will be considered only in such cases where the result of Final year/semester of the qualifying degree has not been declared by the concerned Board/University in its totality. In case the result has been declared by the concerned Board/University but it has not been declared in a specific case, for any reason, such cases will NOT be considered under provisional admission category. Provisionally admitted candidates will have a suffix () to the enrollment number printed on their admission slip. Provisionally admitted candidates are advised to check it on receipt of Admission Slip in addition to the other details. There will be no rounding-off of the percentage of marks of qualifying examination while deciding the basic eligibility of any candidate for admission for e.g. if a candidate obtained 49.9% marks in his/her qualifying examination, then it will not be rounded-off to 50%. Therefore, the candidate is not eligible for that programme where minimum requirement of marks is 50%. In case candidate for any reason fills the minimum% wrongly in Verification Form, he/she shall be exclusively responsible. The eligibility in the LLB programme will be strictly laid down by Bar Council of India. As per Bar Council of India letter No. LE Cir.: 02/2010 dated 20.12.2010, it is stated that The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation/post graduation through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such students are not eligible for admission in the law courses. II Physical Fitness
The applicant must be in good mental and physical health and should be free from any physical defect which is likely to interfere with his/her studies including active outdoor duties required of a professional. Accordingly, all the students shall be required to submit a Medical Certificate indicating fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner as per format given in (please see relevant Appendix in Part -E).

IV. Age Relaxation

The upper age limit may be relaxed upto a maximum of five years in exceptional cases by the Admission Officer of the concerned programme if he/she is satisfied with the merit of the case. Candidates exceeding the upper age limit upto five years may provisionally apply/ appear in the Common Entrance Test. However, they would be required to submit to the satisfaction of the Admission Officer an explanation regarding the gap period, i.e., the details of the period spent by him/her after passing the qualifying examination to justify the relaxation. Such explanation should be in the form of an application to the concerned Admission Officer along with supporting documents (if any). Any relaxation of age beyond this will be given by the Competent Authority of the University.
V. Relaxation in the Requirement of Marks for Reserved Category Candidates.

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/ Physically Handicapped will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirement, irrespective of the fact whether there exists any reservation for any category of such candidates or not.
Note : Relaxation of any kind, as mentioned above and elsewhere in this Admission Brochure, will be granted to only those candidates,who are able to produce necessary relevant supporting documents as per the Admission Brochure before the Admission Officer present at the Venue of the Counselling /Admission. Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) are not eligible. 1.2 Age Candidate should not be less than 17 (Seventeen) years as on the 31st December, 2014. 1.3 Essential Qualifications 1.3.1 MBBS Candidate should have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent examination of the recognised University/ Board of any Indian State with PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY and ENGLISH (Core or Elective or Functional).
To claim seat under MBBS programme at NDMC for the academic session 2014-15, the candidate must have studied 11th and 12th classes regularly from a recognized school within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
1.3.2. BDS Candidate, who have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system conducted by the C.B.S.E./ Council of the Indian School Certificate Examination/Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi with required subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from the recognized schools conducting regular classes situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi only, will be eligible for admission for BDS Programme. have studied 11th and 12th classes regularly from a recognized school within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. 1.4. Minimum Aggregate (MBBS & BDS) Candidate must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (Core or Elective or Functional) individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% in case of SC/ST candidates, subject to availability of seat for these categories in the respective institutions). Notes: (a) All those candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (Core or Elective or Functional) and expect to pass the examination with required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the CET: MBBS & BDS2014. However, their candidature will be considered only if they are able to produce documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks at the time of counselling for admission. (b) It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they posses the requisite eligbility and qualifications for admission. Appearing for the written examination does not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility. (c) There will be no rounding-off of the percentage of marks of qualifying examination while deciding the basic eligibility of any candidate for admission e.g. if a candidate obtained 49.9% marks in his/her qualifying examination, then it will not be rounded-off to 50%. Therefore, the candidate is not eligible for that programme where minimum requirement of marks is 50%. In case candidate for any reason fills the minimum% wrongly in verification form, he/she shall be exclusively responsible. (d) The cases of candidates who have qualified CET 2014, but have Compartment/Supplementary in any paper of the qualifying examination degree at any stages, will be considered by the Admission Officer as per University policy and accordingly he shall take final decision regarding grant of admission to such candidates during academic session 2014-15 as per University policy given below: 21

Based on the result of Common Entrance Test : CET Code 103 (Stage-II) [CET : MBBS - 2014], separate merit lists will be prepared for each category. As per the Medical Council of India Guidelines, the candidates for admission must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of competitive Common Entrance Test : CET Code 103 [CET : MBBS - 2014] (Stage-II) by securing not less than 50% marks for General Category Candidates and 40% in case of SC/ST Category Candidates, subject to availabiity of seats for these categories in respective institutions. Accordingly, names of only those candidates who secure 50% or more marks (40% or more in case of SC / ST candidates) in the Common Entrance Test : CODE 103 [CET : MBBS-2014 (Stage-II)] will be included in the merit lists. 2.2 CRITERIA FOR QUALIFYING CET : BDS - 2014 Based on the result of Common Entrance Test:CET Code 104 [CET : BDS - 2014], merit list will be prepared for each category. As per the Dental/Medical Council of India Guidelines, the candidates for admission must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of competitive Common Entrance Test : CET Code 104 [CET : BDS - 2014] by securing not less than 50% marks for General category Candidates and 40% in case of SC/ST Category Candidates. Accordingly, names of only those candidates who secure 50% or more marks (40% or more in case of SC / ST candidates) in the Common Entrance Test: CET Code 104 [CET: BDS - 2014] will be included in the merit lists. 2.3 ALLOTMENT OF SEATS All seats will be field up on the basis of the merit of MBBS as well as BDS CET-2014. 2.4 INTER-SE MERIT For MBBS In the case of a tie i.e. the candidates obtaining equal marks in the Common Entrance Test, the INTERSE merit will be decided on their performance in the Common Entrance Test: CET Code 103 (Stage-II only) by first eliminating the marks secured in the Physics portion of the CET, and if there is still a tie then by eliminating the marks secured in the Chemistry portion of the CET and if there is still a tie then by eliminating the marks secured in the biology portion of the CET. If a tie still exists, the candidate older in age will be preferred. 3. Eligibility for admission to ACMS for ARMY category

The admission to the ACMS is for the childeren of eligible serving Army personnel, Ex Army personnel and war widows/widows of the Army. The children of following categories of Army personnel are eligible and they are required to submit the relevant certificate as given against the category applicable to them as proof of their eligibility for admission to ACMS at time of Counseling/Admission: (a) The applicants must fall into one of the following categories (Submit Certificate No 1 given as relevant Appendix in Part -E): (i) Children of serving Army personnel with minimum 10 years continuous service in the Army. 22

(v) Children of members of MNS who have 10 years service as regular members of MNS or are in receipt of pension from the Army. (vi) Children of TA personnel who have completed 10 years of embodied service. Important instruction for Candidates seeking admission in ACMS: (a) It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they posses the requisite qualifications for admission. However, having been called for written test or counselling does not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility for admission will be decided by the ACMS at the time of Counseling and also later during the scrutiny of documents by the University. If a candidate is found to be ineligible at any time before or after the commencement of course, the College reserves the right to cancel his/her candidature without any refund of the fees/charges paid. (b) Additional Documents required to be produced in Original alongwith a photocopy at the time of Counseling/Admission to ACMS: (i) Proof of eligible category as per Para 3.1 (Submit Certificate as Applicable). (ii) Original & Photocopy of PPO, Service Record/Discharge Book, Identity Card/Serving Certificate and Dependant Card. (iii) Willingness Certificate (Certificate No 4 given as relevant Appendix in Part -E). (c) Children of Air Force, Navy and Paramilitary forces like CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, Assam Riffles, GREF and DSC are not eligible for the admission in ACMS.
B. POST GRADUATE MEDICAL COURSES COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (PGMC) (CET CODE-102)
1. NATIONALITY: Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Non-Resident Indians and Foreign Nationals are not eligible. 2. Essential Qualification 2.1 Every candidate selected for admission to Post Graduate Medical Course shall possess MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India and must have completed one year compulsory rotatory 23

internship on or before 31st March, 2014. The candidate should have obtained permanent registration with the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Council. 2.2. The candidate must have obtained 600 marks out of 1200, i.e., 50% marks in the Post Graduate Medical Common Entrance Test in case of general category and 40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC and ST category, i.e., they are required to obtain 480 marks out of 1200. 2.3 The candidates should be medically fit to pursue the allocated course on Medical Examination. The selected candidate will be required to undergo Medical Examination by duly constituted medical board at the assigned institution. The candidate shall not be allowed to join the course, if he/she is found medically unfit for the course. 2.4. The in-service candidates should submit their applications through proper channel or attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer to the effect that they have no objection and the candidates will be relieved/granted study leave for pursuing the course and the certificate should be available at the time of Counselling. In case the candidate is unable to submit the application through proper channel or attach NOC at the time of submitting the application, he must produce the same at the time of counselling failing which he /she will not be eligible for the counselling. 2.5. After declaration of result of Post-Graduate Medical Entrance Test (CETCode:102), a candidate who is in service and who is likely to get admission, should initiate the process of obtaining Study Leave/getting relieved so that he/she is able to join the course concerned by the stipulated date. 2.6. No candidate shall be allowed to join a course unless he/she has been relieved/sanctioned study leave from his/her employer. 2.7 Candidates who are already admitted to any Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma Course in any University/Institution as on the date of counselling will not be eligible for admission. Candidate will be required to give an undertaking/ Declaration in the proforma as per relevant Appendix in Part -E. Candidates who have taken admission in any Post Graduate Medical Degree Course through Common Entrance Test conducted by this University during the academic session 2011-12 or 2012-13 and subsequently resigned from the course concerned are not eligible. 2.8. Candidate, who has passed a Post-Graduate Degree course, will not be given admission to Diploma Course in the same subject. 2.9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Post-Graduate Admission Committee shall be final. However, an appeal could be made to the Vice-Chancellor, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University against such a decision. 3. SELECTION PROCEDURE
3.1 In respect of criteria for qualifying CET: PGMC 2014 separate merit list will be prepared for each category based on the result of Common Entrance Test: CET Code : 102. The admissions would be made strictly on the basis of this merit of the eligible candidates determined by marks obtained in the CET:PGMC 2014. 3.2 In case where two or more candidates obtain equal marks in CET: PGMC 2014, the inter-se merit of such candidates will be determined in order of preference as mentioned below: 3.2.1 The candidate, who has secured higher aggregate of marks after taking into consideration marks secured in the three professional examinations of M.B.B.S. course, will be placed higher in merit for admission. 3.2.2 If such candidates also have equal marks in M.B.B.S. course (after taking into consideration marks secured in the three professional examinations), then the candidate older / oldest in age will rank higher in merit for admission.
C. SUPER SPECIALITY MEDICAL COURSES (SSMC)

The admissions would be made strictly on the basis of this merit of the eligible candidates determined by marks obtained in the CET:SSMC-2014. 3.2 In case where two or more candidates obtain equal marks in CET:SSMC-2014, the inter-se-merit of such candidates will be determined in order of preference as mentioned below: 3.2.1 The candidate who has passed the qualifying examination (MD/MS/DNB) in the first/ less number of attempts will be given preference for admission. 3.2.2 The eligible candidates will be required to report at the University on the date and time of the Counselling in person and should mark the attendance. The allotment of seats shall be made only for those candidates who attend the Counselling sessions in person. Under no circumstances a seat will be allotted to any candidate who fails to appear in the Counselling in person. 3.2.3 If the candidate in the tie of marks has passed the qualifying examination (MD/MS/DNB) in the same number of attempts, then the candidate who has got more aggregate marks, taking into consideration marks of all the three professional examinations of MBBS course together, will be given preference for admission. 3.2.4 If the candidates have equal marks in MBBS also, after taking into consideration marks of all the three professional examinations, then the candidate older/oldest in age will be given preference for admission.

142 MCA(Dual degree) To be notified later 25.05.2014 03.06.2014 (Sunday) (Tuesday) 10.30-1.00 p.m. * Wherever the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (Botany & Zoology) have been prescribed for Entrance Tests for admission to graduation level courses, the Syllabi shall be of 11th and 12th standard under the 10+2 Scheme of CBSE as prescribed for the students passing out class 12th in 2014. For post-graduate level courses, the standard of questions for Entrance Tests will be of graduation level. The last date for submission of CET application forms is 10th April 2014 (Thursday) for all Engineering and Professional programmes excepting B. Arch & PGMC programmes. Every Common Entrance Test will be of 2 hours duration. Medium of all Common Entrance Tests will be English.
3. MEDICAL PROGRAMMES/POST GRADUATE MEDICAL PROGRAMMES (PGMC/SSMC)

A. MBBS & BDS 1. SCHEDULE FOR MBBS (CET CODE 103) All the candidates who are keen to seek admission to MBBS programme for the Academic Session 2014-15 must appear in the Common Entrance Test : CET Code 103 (2014), which will be conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector-16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078. There will be two stages of the Common Entrance Test. Only qualified candidates of Stage I will be allowed to appear in Stage II Entrance Test of MBBS. 1.1 The dates & time are as under: CET Code 103 Programme MBBS Stage I Date of CET-2014 27th April 2014 (Sunday) Time of CET-2014 2 pm- 5 pm 2 pm- 5 pm Date & Day of Declaration of CET Result 6th May 2014 (Tuesday) 10th June 2014 (Tuesday)

The CET : MBBS-2014 (Stage I) is proposed to be conducted at the Centres detailed in table at Para II given at the end of this chapter.

However, depending upon the number of candidates at any station, the final venue of the CET : MBBS - 2014 (Stage I) will be communicated to the candidates through Admit Cards. MBBS (Stage II) test will be held only at Delhi. In case of any query, candidate may contact on 011-25302287. The candidates are also advised to indicate in the Application Form their two preferred choices in respect to the places in order of his/her preference. The choices indicated by the candidates shall however, be considered as their 'preferred choices'. The actual centre code will be allotted by the University and the same shall be considered as final. Neither any change in the preferences already indicated by the candidate shall be allowed by the University nor any correspondence in this regard will be entertained under any circumstances. 2 SCHEDULE FOR BDS (CET CODE 104) All the candidates who are keen to seek admission to BDS programme for the Academic Session 2014-15 must appear in the Common Entrance Test : CET Code 104, which will be conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University,Sector-16C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078. 2.1 The dates & time are as under: CET Code 104 Programme BDS Date of CET-2014 Time of CET-2014 Date & Day of Declaration of CET Result
3rd May 2014 2 pm - 5 pm 13th May 2014 (Tuesday) (Saturday) The last date for submission of CET application forms is 10th April 2014 (Thursday) for MBBS & BDS programmes. 3. GENERAL STANDARD OF THE QUESTION PAPER OF CET : MBBS & BDS 2014 The level of questions will be that of 12th class under the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science. Syllabi for Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) shall be as specified by CBSE for class 11th and 12th under 10+2 scheme for students passing class 12th in the year 2014.
B. POST GRADUATE MEDICAL COURSES (PGMC)

1. COMMON ENTRANCE TEST -2014 (CET CODE-102) 1.1 All candidates seeking admission to Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma courses of the University for session 2014-15 must appear in the CET, which will be conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi as per details given below: CET Code 102 2. No separate intimation to this effect will be sent to the candidates individually. 2.2 The University does not issue or supply or intimate the marks / ranks to any candidate and no correspondence on the subject will be entertained. However, marks obtained by individual candidate can be seen or downloaded from the University's website www.ipu.ac.in. 2.3 Requests for revaluation/ re-checking of answer sheet will not be entertained under any circumstances. 2.4 The last date of submission of application for PGMC Programme is 20.03.2014 (Thursday) upto 4 p.m.

(iv) The choices indicated by the candidates in respect to the Centres of Entrance Examination shall only be considered as their preferred choices. The actual Centre Code will be allotted by the University and the same shall be considered as final. Neither any change in the preferences already indicated by the candidate shall be allowed by the University nor any correspondence in this regard will be entertained under any circumstances. The University may drop any of the above mentioned centres if sufficient number of candidates are not available or for any other reason deemed appropriate to drop the centre.

(v) In case University decides to drop both the preferences of centres given by the candidate then, in such circumstances, 'Delhi' centre will be allotted.
A Separate Application Form has to be filled-in for each programme (s) having distinct CET / Programme Code. No separate intimation will be sent to the candidates regarding declaration of results and commencement of counselling/ admission. Result will be declared on University Website (www.ipu.ac.in). Detailed schedule of first counselling/admissions will be notified prior to commencement of respective counselling, on the University Website (www.ipu.ac.in). Tentative dates of commencement of first and second counselling, are given in Part C: Chapter I. The dates for counselling as given in Part C: Chapter I may be deferred if the sanctioned intake for the respective programme is not received by the University in time. (iii) The University will declare and display the ranks of only those candidates who are declared as qualified in the CET-2014. The candidates will be called for counselling/admission depending upon the number of seats available in each programme. The admissions will be made only out of these qualified candidates strictly in order of inter-se-merit. The rank of candidates who do not qualify in CET-2014 will not be declared.
