    Meyer Personal Writing/4th Block 12 November 2013 Whats Eating Gilbert Grape Review In the small town of Endora, we the viewers are transported into Gilbert Grapes world in the film Whats Eating Gilbert Grape. Gilbert (played by Johnny Depp) faces many internal and external challenges as he tries to take care of his mentally retarded brother Arnie (Leonardo DiCaprio). Theres a slow moving storyline, and its not altogether that exciting. This being said, Depp and DiCaprio perform excellently in their respective roles.
