How is wind created? Wind is created by the sun warming the land. When the land is warm it warms the air above it which will start to rise. In an other place the air is cooling and sinking. The cool air moves across the surface to take the place of the warm air which is rising

How do we extract oil from the ground? Oil is extracted from the ground by drilling down hundreds of feet into earth. Once a discovery is located or found the a pipe inserts through, which then it pumps the oil.

How do we harness wind? The blades start to turn because the wind is blowing on them. People also think that wind is one of the cleanest ways to make electricity because it has very little chance of harming the environment.

How does a wind turbine work? When the blades start spinning a magnet and a coil wire start taking electrons and making a magnetic field. After that the newly made electricity goes in a wire to your house.

How does wind make electricity? A wind turbine is the opposite of a fan. A fan makes wind from electricity and a wind turbine makes wind energy in to electricity.

How is oil transformed into electricity? The oil is pumped into the boiler where it burns. This heats up the water which then creates steam, the steam pulls the turbine. The turbine makes the generator work, the generators magnet starts to spin which causes the magnetic field. The magnetic field loosens the electrons which then travels through wires and finally into your house.

Why should I use wind energy? Wind is a safe sort of energy and it is becoming cheaper. It does not take a lot of time to build and one turbine is able to power houses. I mean that is a lot. It does not take up a lot of space and It does not have a big chance of harming the environment.

Why do we use oil for electricity? We use oil for electricity because all of the fossil fuels produce lots of electricity also we use oil and fossil fuels for electricity is because they are easy to find . Secondly we use oil and fossil fuels for electricity because they are our main resources . Finally I would like to tell you how much each main energy source produces energy: 40% coal, 16% nuclear, 15% gas, 19%hydro electric energy, and 10% oil. We also use oil for transportation, and generation for electricity . What are the advantages of oil? It has greater power then any other energy source. One cup of petroleum can move a vehicle that is full of people for ten minutes. It can be used in lots of different ways like plaster, make up and so on. Oil is easier to extract than coal. It produces lots of energy . It is easily combustible . It can be found in any parts of the world.

What are the disadvantages? It is becoming expensive . Oil spills can cause environmental disasters. Oil can release bad gases when burned, like carbon dioxide which can cause a green house affect. It will run out. It can damage eco systems . There have been lots of oil spills which caused lots of harm to the environment.

Why should I not use wind energy? Some of the people who live next to the turbine complain about the noises it is making. It can not always produce electricity because there is not always wind and sometimes the wind is not enough strong to make it spin.

Who is responsible of taking care of oil spills? The people that are supposed to take responsibility of oil spills are the government the workers the president of the country that had an oil spill and the owner of the company.

Does it harm the environment? It has really little chance of harming the environment because it is really high up so only birds or bats can get stuck in it. It does not let out any green house gases.

What is one wind disadvantage? What is one oil advantage? What is one thing wind can do to harm the nature?
