Subject: Appeal for reduction of fee for Master in Business Economics course

Dear Sir, This is with reference to our class of Master in Business Economics (MBE) of 2013-15, studying in the esteemed Gauhati University. We are writing this letter for putting forth our appeal for reduction of our course fees, since we are financially burdened with the present fee structure. We are requesting a reduction in fee for the MBE course since we are paying higher fee than all the post graduate courses conducted under this university. Coupled with that the rising inflation has also burnt a hole in our familys budgets and are straining our financial equilibrium. Another point to be highlighted is even though MBE course is closely akin to MBA course, the students pursuing the MBA course are paying Rs 32,100 for two semesters while we are paying Rs 28,140 for one semester. We wish to put forth our appeal to reduce our course fees, so that we will be able to continue our education smoothly. We really want to have a good education, without any disruptions. Therefore, we request you to consider our plea and help us by reducing our monetary burden. Thanking you in advance for your kindly support!
