LEGACY OF LEADERSHIP REPORT

Current Projects/Initiatives: Global Union: 1) Global Union on the Road event, scheduled for March 28th, in Washington, DC.: About 40 members of the Lehigh Global Union are scheduled to attend, the program will include a visit to the Pentagon (Senior Navy Admiral Briefing) and to the International Monetary Fund. 2) Sent an email introducing Legacy of Leadership group and the affiliation with the Global Union, with an e-questionnaire to several alumni. Preparing to circulate the questionnaire to a broader group of alumni (Fall 2014), to help plan/host another Legacy of Leadership/Global Union event in March 2105. 3) 150th Lehigh-Lafayette game weekend: Using the Global Union partnership with the United Nations to arrange a program at the UN for students and alumni (more details to follow). Association of Student Alumni Mentorship Program: 1) Have identified a select few alumni interested in participating in an initial Mentorship program; and plan to build program from this base, over time; 2) Select students in ASA as candidates for the Mentorship program; 3) Anticipate developing an Action Plan for the program in late spring/early summer. Future Goals: 1) 2014 Legacy of Leadership Gala event anticipated for Fall 2014, and in conjunction with Founders Day ceremonies; 2) Assist with varied initiatives/events for Lehighs 150th Anniversary.
