Christmas With A T wist rocks Wheeler

by Meghan Kilpatrick and Sam Chavez

On December 18 the Skoolyard Krew did a performance during recess in the auditorium at WMS. The Skoolyard Krew did a performance called Christmas With a Twist. It perfectly balanced new musical styles with classical Christmas songs. The performers were perfectly synchronized throughout the performance. The girls were perfectly in sync with both the music and each other while they danced and sang. The girls danced to pop songs that had been made for Christmas and sang original Christmas songs like Christmas Carols. The songs they sang were: Frosty the Snowman, Jingle Bells, and Santas Coming to Town. Megan also got her own flute solo in the middle of the performance. They danced to a couple of Christmas songs. Santa Claus also Members of Skoolyard Krew perform during Christmas With a Twist. made an appearance, and the crowd went wild.

Mr. Nakamoto

The teamwork and having fun.

Team Elite conquered The Raging Machines in the flag football championship game on Tuesday. The score ended up being five to one. Team Elite then got to play the teachers on Wednesday. It feels great to have won because now we get to play the teachers, said Quarterback Felix McCorkle after the win. Even the players who did not go to the championship had fun. They had it last year. I think its a great opportunity for fun, said

Nathan Nava. Even though only one team won, many other players enjoyed the season. It feels like Im just playing with friends, said Collin Hayes. The only problem in the season was trash talking. Throughout the season, some enjoyed only watching. Its our goal as teachers to make sure they have fun, said Mr. Yap All of them have a future playing football.
