The Great Depression and its Effect

Name: _________________________ Date:_____________ Hour:_____ You will be comparing and contrasting two sets of data from the Great Depression era (1920-1940) and comparing and contrasting two sets of data from the current era (2000-2012). You have the opportunity to work with a partner, however, each person will have their own Google document. For each era, you will graph the two sets of data. If the y-values are close in proximity, you will create one graph. If the y-values are far apart, you will create two separate graphs. The graphs will be inserted in a Google document. Once the appropriate graphs are inserted, you will write a three or four sentences explaining the graph and what happened to cause these changes. For example, when unemployment was increasing, what was happening in ..... These need to be complete sentences. You will then repeat this process for the current era data. You will place the graphs and statements about the graphs in the same document. Great Depression Era 1920-1940 Life Expectancy for Men or Women Unemployment Current Era 2000-2012
