The majority of careers require a wide range of skills that include art and music. Art and music programs in school require a lot of skills, the use of these skills are needed in the work place. Skills like mathematical thinking, measurement, and elongated attention spans are used in art and music classes quite often, and are frequently used in the work place as well. The skills retained in art and music courses are useful in the work place because they notify the employer that their worker has the willingness to try new concepts. hich is a valuable characteristic for someone to with hold in the work place.
