File Management

1. First thing for file management is to go to my computer, the way to get there is to click on the start button and locate it. Next is to make two folders in your U drive. The way to make a folder is to find the button that says new folder, and then the folder will pop up. 2. The second thing is to rename one of your folders. The way to do that is to right click on the folder and locate it on the list that pops up. Then it will highlight the name and you can type in the name you want. 3. The third thing to do is to save a file on to the renamed folder. The way to do that is to make a document or file. Then when you save go to file and press save as then locate your folder and save it in the folder. 4. Next is to copy the file into the second file. One way is to click and drag the file into to the other file. The other way is to right click and copy the file and paste it in the other folder. 5. Fifth is to rename the second folder. Just repeat direction #2 6. Sixth is to make a document or file and press save as and save it to the folder called desktop. 7. Then copy the file on desktop to one of your folders. You can just click and drag the file or just repeat the steps from direction 4 8. Last is to make a shortcut of the file on the desktop. The easiest way to do that is to click and drag the file on to the desktop.
