It was fate Romeo went to that party and met Juliet, it was fate Romeo did not receive the letter; it was fate that Romeo poisoned himself and died. The theme of Romeo and Juliet is people cannot change their fate. Starting off, Romeo met Juliet at a party that he was not supposed to go to because he is a Montague. Rom- . You cannot change your fate no matter how hard you try it just will not work. Things happen for a reason, whether it is a break-up, fight, or death, you can always find a way to make it positive.
