Analysis Extension

Analysis Extension is an extension for the GIS software ArcView GIS. This extension gives you the ability to perform advanced analyses in a very easy way. Over 25 tools are included in the extension, all to make the analyses as efficient as possible.

Buffer all shape types with lots of buffer options. Overlay analyses such as Union, Identity and Intersect. Edit themes by clipping, erasing or updating them with other themes. Merge several themes into one or split one theme to several. Generalize themes by merging polygons with the same attributes in one or more fields. Eliminate selected polygons by merging them with the most likely neighboring polygon. Calculate distance and bearing between features in one theme to features in another. 3D operations such as TIN, Thiessen and Contour. Convert themes between all four shape types. Convert themes to graphics and vice verse. Move and rotate whole themes or single objects. Calculate weighted or geographic center.

The tools can be reached from three different places: a menu, the standard buttonbar or a floating buttonbar. All of this can easily be configured. This enables you to customize the Analysis Extension to fit your own needs, all to make your work more efficient. In addition, all tools can be used from Avenue. This makes it possible to build your own applications that use functionality from the Analysis Extension or simply automate your analyses. Analysis Extension also includes a number of zoom tools that among other things, enables you to save zoomlocations.
