The CCCNJ Weekly Prayer Requests

Scripture: “When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots
and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the LORD your
God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you.” (Deuteronomy
20:1)

Weekly Theme: “ The Visions of Church ”

1. Pray that our church pastors, elders and coworkers have a burden of building up
God’s house (church), and have a vision of expanding God’s kingdom.
2. Pray that our church pastors, elders, and coworkers are all connected to our Lord
Christ, and have an attitude of working together in harmony according to the part of the
church body each member belongs to so that we can help and edify one another with love.
3. Pray for the church planting, church expansion, pastor search, and elders
nomination.
4. Pray God to help us to work with Him to build our church with one united mind.
5. Pray God that we all have the same vision of church planting for the growth of the
church and the expansion of God’s kingdom. Pray God that we can commit ourselves to
serving our God with a mind of team work, and are willing to care for one another so that
God’s visions can be carried out, and the gift of each individual coworker can be fully
utilized by God.
6. Pray for the Mission organizations﹕ Taiwan Operation Dawn; Missionaries﹕ Keli’i &
Patty Akina, and Seminary student﹕ Joy Huang; also pray for the peace and safety of
those brothers and sisters who are on oversea short-term mission.

---English and Youth Ministry:

• Pray for all 7 fellowship groups and the leaders. Pray that more people who are not in
any regular fellowship will come to attend.
• Pray for all students, including college students, who are returning to a new school year.
• Pray for all fall quarter’s Sunday school classes for all age groups.
• Pray for our Pastors & their family—Health, faith, relationship, spiritual well being.
--- Children Ministry:
• Pray for Fall quarter's Sunday school teachers and helpers.
--- People:
• Health of the many who are suffering: Tim’s back, Fenny’s spine, Maura’s platelet
court, Elder Lee’s kidney, Vivian’s flue, Candy’s shoulder.
• Job seeking: Fred, Jill, Aliver, Rob, Fenny.
• Pregnant Moms: Jenny, Jennifer, Wei, Beverly, Frau.
--- National:
• Leader of the nation.
• Victims of all the natural disasters.
