Persuasive Podcast Rubric

CATEGORY Introduction

4 Meets Standards The thesis statement names the topic and purpose of the podcast and outlines the main points to be discussed. Includes 3 or more pieces of information and evidence (facts, statistics, examples, real-life experiences) that support the chosen energy form. The speaker anticipates the listener's concerns, biases or arguments and has provided at least 3 counter-arguments (or statements against using a form of energy different from the one chosen.) All of the evidence and examples are specific, relevant and explanations are given that show how each piece of evidence supports the speaker's position.
