Enlightenment Let me take one more breath Who knows about the next?

Let me sit down here and rest And put an end to all unrest Let me halt to listen to the animals Let me halt to see the idyllic landscape The green trees and the sharp mountains The innocent squirrels, birds, and their nests Today, here and now is the time Who knows tomorrow if I will remain? Or leave this temporary abode And disseminate once and for all Let me waft in the desires and wishes of all Drift in their actions and expectations Observe and watch meticulously But let me speak naught for silence is golden Failure or success, I do not care For, I shall pass and become unaware None will speak about me again However, both my pleasures and my pains shall forever end I no longer wish to fight I no longer wish to seek any light Or to explore the enigma that is life What I have is more than suffice What else should I desire? All I need is already there What is not mine, I do not care It is all done, my journey, my trek I am now going away Away from the rushes of the world Away from the feelings of compunction that is so pervasive Away from the thoughts of pleasure and pain Away and into the abyss of ones absolute self
