Dear student/aspirant, LAW as an optional subject in the Civil Services Examination has finally re-emerged at the centre-stage and

that too with a bang. Kudos to Ms. S. Divyadarshini ( AIR:01, CSE-2010 ) and her recent predecessors who have resurrected the position of LAW as an optional capable of fetching 350+ marks in the main examination. This re-emergence of LAW surely is of permanent nature in light of the fact that the UPSC is in the final stages of modifying the format of the main examination in which LAW will be a substantial (and compulsory) component. And the state PSCs will also follow this pattern soon. This also comes as an eye-opener for you - to make you understand that LAW is as good as any other optional subject. It is just a matter of catching the nerve of it. One has to be very clear and focussed in his/her approach. Right and selective reading material, synopsizing of every topic, understanding the nature of questions on every topic and sub-topics thereof, proper conceptual clarity, clear understanding of case-laws, constant question analysis and writing practice is the key to success. Frequent revision, discussions and mental analysis is a must. A complete devotion and full engrossment into your preparations is what makes you learn and understand faster. Intelligent and innovative studies is actually what makes you different from the others and your being different is a must to get through. The fact is that one should be true to oneself; merely studying 10-12 hours a day is not sufficient - most of students do that. Still how many clear the exams? Plan out your studies pause and ponder- each and every day should be intelligently planned and utilized well. Please remember, coaching institutes are just facilitators, without your efforts no institute can make you get through. By joining a coaching institute you just buy time and confidence for yourself. What you could probably have done yourself over a longer period of time, you are made to do faster and more intelligently. If an institute is good it will definitely give you the cutting edge. You just have to be positively alert, vigilant and receptive to gather the crux and make it your tool of success. Moreover, a good coach/teacher will not only give you the knowledge, he/she will rather also give you a complete and comprehensive approach towards the exams and life in general. We promise you to provide the highest pedestal upon which you will be able to write your success-story. And we believe that our mission-oriented unique Interactive, Individualistic and Brain-storming Technique which is followed by us in the classes as well as in the test-series is capable to give you that highest possible pedestal required in this endeavour. So, have faith in your abilities and have faith in the Almighty. Create the killing instinct, dont hold back anything and hit the target hard. Success would be yours. No one is born and destined to succeed, one has to achieve it by his/her efforts. After all, its your attitude and not the talent which matters the most. ALL THE VERY BEST ! Date: S.K.
