Event Detail: Prize: Winners will be awarded with shields. The climbing wall is 60 meters tall adjustable at angles of 35, 90 and 120 degrees. The number of competitors will be 30. Climbers have to register if they want to compete. The climbing competition starts at 10am and ends at 1pm. The semi-finals of the climbing event will take place at 2pm and ends at 3.30pm. Time limit for the climbing competition is 2mins each. In the climbing competition, if a climber falls from a route, they lose all their points.

Rules for Participants:

Follow all directions of NUST Adventure Club staff. Only students from H-12 campus can participate. Hands may not extend beyond first bolt line when bouldering. Use of a bouldering pad and a spotter is recommended at all times. Do not pass under or over other climbers when bouldering. You must pass the top-rope endorsement test to top-rope belay. You must pass the lead endorsement test to lead-climb or lead-belay. Technical climbing shoes required. When waiting to climb remain near the benches or outside the wall area if crowded. Verbal commands and visual safety check before every climb are required. No food or glass bottles in wall area. Take care of your valuables. Safety of all personal items brought into wall area must be participants own responsibility. No excessive yelling and no profanity. Appropriate attire is required: shoes, shorts/pants, shirt covering the midriff.
