Additional notations from ACBI Inc. regarding the UCT-1B FMS Training Program.

These changes and notations are an addendum to the current published training manual. (see REEDME file). 1.) UCT-1 List searches; these are not FMS "smart Lists" and so they will not appear in the same order as on the real FMS. 2.) Distance rounding off; DOS and the FMS have processing differences which can result in some variation in distance if cross compared between the UCT-1 and UNS-1. 3.) When "HOLD" is selected, the NavBASE levels off at current altitude and 170 knots (MAN) TAS. 4.) Manual ground speed must be set for 61 knots or greater. The FMS on the UCT-1 will not display values below 61 knots. 5.) After landing, press "NAV" and "CNCL Approach" to reset the system for another approach. 6.) Flight Plan (FPL) pagination; UCT-1 flight plan pagination is slightly different from the real FMS. The FMS always places the current "TO" waypoint in the #2 position on your first access of the flight plan from another mode, then repaginates it as you page through. The UCT-1 is already paginated with the first waypoint on page FPL 1/X. When first accessed, the "TO" waypoint will be on the page but not necessarily in position #2. 7.) After using the mouse slider (MAP display), the pointer will be slow to return to the screen.
