laboratories performing in clinical capacities. This variety of knowledge of all
departments of the clinical laboratory plus experience on several Laboratory
Information Systems (LIS) and my current lead role make me uniquely qualified to

From 2000 to 2007, I was a generalist, working all laboratory departments.

In 2008 I became a Lead Medical Technologist, this position requires being a

liaison to Lab and nursing personnel, I also received training as support LIS to
help in the transition to another system by Labcorp called LMS.

After 2 years helping in the support of the clinic’s LIS, some of my current tasks
are:
Assisting with the coordination and training of personnel using the LMS.
Day to day operations monitoring and specimen workflow.
Interface testing.
Help to resolve workflow and communication of LMS database problems.
Act as a liaison to lab personnel and LIS operating personnel.
Help desk-daily problems-technical and procedural.
