PW-240 Superwetting Agent

Description
PW-240 is a low viscosity, non-ionic poly-oxyethylene-modified polydimethyl-siloxane, more commonly referred to as silicone glycol copolymer. This product has been designed with a specific silicone to glycol ratio to afford a range of performance characteristics. PW-240 is a highly efficient, low surface energy surfactant. This low surface energy can be achieved utilizing concentrations of the superwetting agent as low as 0.01 percent by weight.

Characteristics
Wetting agent for synthetic leather manufacture. It wets the release paper to obtain a perfect replica of the embossment in transfer coating. Prevents crater formation in aqueous coatings when the substrate has a low surface tension

Storage
When stored in its original unopened packaging at a temperature between +5 C and + 40 C, PW-240 may be stored for up to 16 months from its date of manufacture (expiry date). Comply with the storage instructions and expiry date marked on the packaging. Past this date, TAI COUNTY no longer guarantees that the product meets the sales specifications.
