Project Title

Making the Cut: How technological changes and social trends altered golfs accessibility for working class Americans in the post-World War II era. How have technological changes and social trends changed golfs accessibility to working class Americans in the post-WWII era? I will investigate how new technologies such as golf equipment, media, golf carts and automobiles have changed golfs accessibility and affordability. Richard Moss Richard J. Moss was a Professor of History at Colby College and is the author of Golf and the American Country Club and Eden in the Pines: A History of Pinehurst Village. To provide guidance and support.
