"ou need to see what careers are available and what colle es are best suited for that career! #his will allow you to set up a schedule that will et you the de ree for that $ob! So today I have been takin surveys to see what skills and interest I have! I believe this will help me pick a career and set up a schedule! #he first survey I took was the career cluster survey! I had four top rankin clusters! #he first was a riculture% food and natural resources! #he second was architecture and construction! #he third was manufacturin ! #he last one was transportation% distribution and lo istics! I have always liked workin with my hands and bein outside! So I looked thorou hly into architecture and construction! &ne of the careers that I found interestin was bein a carpenter! My nei hbor is a carpenter and has showed me some tips while workin with wood! In hi h school I am oin to take carpentry and draftin ! Both of these electives sound like they would help me if I look into bein a carpenter! #he second survey I took was the basic skills survey! 's I said in the second para raph% I like workin with my hands! &ne of the careers that matched ( of my skills was bein a welder and cutter! I didn)t really think much of this $ob until I looked into the details! It takes a lot of workin with your hands! #his is ri ht up my alley! 'nother $ob I saw was bein a $eweler! In this $ob you have to cut and shape emstones and make new $ewelry desi ns! "ou have to be careful not to scratch or break the emstones or diamonds! #he third survey I took was the interest profiler survey! My top interest areas were realistic and social! &ne of the first $obs I saw was bein an acupuncturist! I would not like to stick needles in people for a livin so I don)t think this $ob is for me! #here was one $ob on the list that I have always wanted to be! #his is bein a fish and ame warden! #hey patrol the area for fish and ame law violations! My friend)s uncle is a marine fisheries officer! So if I have any *uestions I can $ust ask him! #he fourth and final survey I took was the work value sorter survey! My top work values were achievement and reco nition! &ne of the $obs I found was bein an anesthesiolo ist! #hey administrate patient)s anesthetics prior to% durin % or after sur ery% or other medical procedures! #his $ob looks like it has a lot of risk so that you don)t over dose the patient or don)t record the results ri ht! 'nother $ob I found was bein a funeral director or mortician! In this $ob you have to arran e funeral and select pallbearers! I don)t think I)d be able to deal with an emotional family or dead people! In conclusion I think my favorite career choice would be bein a fish and ame warden! I love to hunt fish and be outdoors! But if this didn)t work out I would look into
