Fly Like a bird gone forth from nest Free as it's always dreamed Yet the outside world

is harder and colder, Than, from the nest, it seemed. And here I'm being thrust, Into the cold, hard world, Like a ship without a captain, And the sails won't come unfurled. ot left harbour, as of yet, At home I still am docked, Tide is in, howe!er, And by wind, I'm being rocked. ow its time, I think, to lea!e The ship analogy, '"ause a ship portrays a splendour, That doesn't #uite fit me. $o, returning to the bird, That's flown away from nest% I feel like I can't fly at all, Though I'm gi!ing it my best. I'm clumsy% always falling, &ut I know, by and by, That with the help of those around me I soon will learn to fly.
