The CCCNJ Weekly Prayer Requests

Scripture: “8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who
will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" (Isaiah 6:8)

Weekly Theme: “ The Ministry of Mission ”

1. Pray God to provide church leaders with heavenly visions to understand God’s will, to
have a commission for the development of God’s house (church), and to have a view of
expanding God’s kingdom.
2. Pray God to equip more of His people for a breakthrough and good discipline in prayer,
preaching, mission and teaching.
3. Pray God to lift up more coworkers full of faith and fear, and to send down the holy
spirits to us so that we can have more power to preach and reach out those unbelievers.
4. Pray God to help us to have a watchful and prayerful heart for the mission organizations,
missionaries, seminary students, and the mission ministries that CCCNJ supports.
5. Pray for the Mission organizations﹕ Far East Bible Training; Missionaries﹕ Scarlet
Hwuang, and Seminary student﹕ Janas Caruncho (Westminster); also pray for the
peace and safety of those brothers and sisters who are on oversea short-term mission.

---Church Ministry:
• Pray for 10/25 GA meeting; pray for confirmation of Pastor Chen, Youth Pastor
Low, and Youth Director Chu); for election of the new trustee (candidate: Fang-Chung
Chen) and deacons (candidates: Thomas Lan, Shimin Wei, Xiaowei Zhou); for approval
of church planting and its pastor (candidate: Pastor Joseph Chen).
---English and Youth Ministry:
• Pray for all 7 fellowship groups and the leaders. Pray that more people who are not in
any regular fellowship will come to attend.
• Pray for all students, including college students, who are returning to a new school year.
• Pray for all fall quarter’s Sunday school classes for all age groups.
• Pray for our Pastors & their family—Health, faith, relationship, spiritual well being.
--- Children Ministry:
• Pray for Fall quarter's Sunday school teachers and helpers.
--- People:
• Health of the many who are suffering: Tim’s back, Fenny’s spine, Maura’s platelet
court, Elder Lee’s kidney, Vivian’s flue, Candy’s shoulder.
• Job seeking: Fred, Jill, Aliver, Rob, Fenny.
• Pregnant Moms: Jenny, Jennifer, Wei, Beverly, Frau.
--- National:
• Leader of the nation.
• Victims of all the natural disasters.
