Technical Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: To assist the Technical Manager on the following: Monitor Planned Maintenance System Program Monitor vessel requisition (Soteria / Soteria 2) Monitor vessel inventory Assist in the implementation of scheduled planned maintenance Assist in the purchasing of materials as per job order Monitor and report activities of hired contractors for vessel maintenance / repair Update vessel technical library Create / Update technical system for vessel requisition, acknowledgment of receipt, safety management system, protocol of turn-over, technical checklist inspection, tug crew weekly maintenance activities Assist in coordinating with safeseas operations manager on the repair / maintenance of tugs Conduct incident investigation onboard and submit findings
