Dynamic Group Session

This month, the Research & Valuation team worked towards the ongoing Equity Research Projects, which will start to be presented during the upcoming month. Additionally, new BAT sessions are being organized, in collaboration with the Financial Markets team. New test sessions will be announced soon.

The dynamic group we did on March 31st was very productive and helped to sharpen the know-hows of a dynamic group sessions companies subject a prospective employee to during a recruitment process. Also towards the end, a member of FEP Finance Club presented a brief summary of what one should and should not do during such sessions. These initiatives are beneficial to all students as they are training their skills in a real context.

Financial Markets
This month our Market Research team issued four new weekly reports, as well as daily briefs. On the other hand, our Portfolio Management kept managing its portfolios, while implementing changes in the previously used asset allocation models. Lastly, our Forex Trading team started trading with the strategy it has been developing and backtesting for the past months.

Personal & Professional Development

The CV Check entered the third stage, students have now applied to the fake opportunities. The department organized a group session for MSc in Finance students. We are now starting to visit schools on the Financial Literacy program. The other publications continue to inform and challenge FEPs students in Facebook or through email.

External Relations
This month, the External Relations team started preparing the Lisbon Business Trip and two companies are already confirmed: CAIXA BI and GALP Energia. Our brand new website is also almost complete and will be up and running soon. Also, plans for promotional video for the club have been laid out. Moreover, we are in the process for getting partnerships for FEP trading Cup and Bloomberg Terminal.
