Optimization of the constructive solution of a dwelling (see plans and elevation views in
Figures12)takingintoconsiderationthefollowingconditions:
1. Minimizationoftheoperationalenergyofthehouseoveritslifecycle;
2. Minimizationoflifecycleenvironmentalimpacts;
3. Minimizationoflifecyclecosts.

Functionalunit:
A residential house providing shelter for a family of 4 persons. The house is designed for a
service life of 50 years, according to structural Eurocodes (ULS and SLS) and other Codes
(ThermalandAcoustic).
