Water Project: Water illnesses are diseases caused by drinking, or having any physical contact with water.

There are many common water illnesses such as diarrhea, cholera, fluorosis, and typhoid. Diarrhea is caused by a variety of microorganisms including viruses and bacteria. Diarrhea causes a person to lose both water and electrolytes, which leads to dehydration and, in some cases, to death. holera is a bacterial infection of the intestinal tract that can cause severe attacks of diarrhea that, without medical help, can !uickly lead to dehydration and death. "luorosis is a grave bone disease caused by high concentrations of fluoride occurring naturally in groundwater. # hygienic environment, and clean water are key factors in preventing infections associated with #$D%, and in the !uality of life of people living with the disease. &astly, typhoid fever is a bacterial infection caused by consuming contaminated food or water. %ymptoms for this disease are headaches, nausea and loss of appetite. Water illnesses spread through direct contact or consumption of infected water. The time that chlorine takes to kill each germ may change. We can prevent water illnesses by staying away from unhygienic water. $t is also a lot safer to swim in pools that contain chlorine as chlorine kills germs that create (W$*s.
